Tobias Wilsch

About

Tobias is a faculty member at the University of Tübingen. He is an experienced academic teacher and researcher. His research focuses on metaphysics, philosophy of science, epistemology, and action theory. Tobias earned his PhD at Rutgers University (2015), held a postdoc position in Uppsala, and served as interim professor in Mainz (2021–2023).

Heisenberg

Tobias Wilsch has received funding through the Heisenberg Program of the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project focuses on action theory and epistemology and it builds on his work on modality and explanation.

Über mich

Tobias Wilsch ist Akademischer Rat an der Universität Tübingen. Er ist erfahrener Hochschullehrer und Forscher. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Metaphysik, Wissenschaftstheorie, Erkenntnistheorie und Handlungstheorie. Tobias hat an der Rutgers University promoviert (2015), war Postdoktorand in Uppsala und vertrat von 2021 bis 2023 den Lehrstuhl für Theoretische Philosophie in Mainz.
